What We Believe
Our beliefs reflect our spiritual consciousness. At Jesus Calls, we do not discriminate anyone based on their beliefs, but remain faithful to what God has called us to believe through Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Here's a quick summary:
God
The Holy and Unblemished Creator and Sustainer of the Universe who dwells in unapproachable glory
Jesus
The Only Begotten Son of God who lived, died, and resurrected - the Author and Finisher of our Faith
Holy Spirit
The Third Person of the Trinity who empowers, comforts, counsels, and quickens our soul and body
The Trinity
The celestial partnership between God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit
Bible
The First and Final authority of what we believe and how we all ought to live in peace with God and all fellowmen
Church
Christ's Body that holds all God's people together in faith and provides pastoral care to all our communities
Humanity
Made in God's Own Image, drifted from God through sin, but is still loved by the Maker & remains His focus
Salvation
Not earned by good deeds but through acceptance of Christ's death and resurrection in faith
Second Coming
The anticipated arrival of Jesus Christ as the Lord of Lords and King of Kings to judge and reward us all
